Week 6: Practicing self-forgiveness

As they prepare for the long walk, pilgrims are taught to take careful leave from others: to ask for a blessing, forgive and seek forgiveness, exchange tokens of kindness, or simply wave Adieu. This phase cannot be rushed. It fortifies the seeker for the trials ahead.
